Map

April 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of ditches, relating to post medieval field boundaries and a possible Roman field system, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The ditches are visible in an area of different geology on a similar alignment to boundaries shown on the first edition 25in Ordnance Survey map (S2). However, their rectilinear arrangement could also suggest a Roman date for some of the elements.
J. Albone (NMP), 5 April 2004.
