Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, rectangular folded widthways with pin-slot and recessed for frame, decorated with wyvern on enamelled field, enamel missing, 30 by 20mm. Compare with illustration and discussion in (S1) 113 to 4, figure 73, number 530, 13th century.
