2002 to 2003. Metal detecting amongst late post medieval and recent metal objects.
Finders' field WB10.
Over half of a double-looped buckle frame, missing loop almost certainly oval. Tapering D-section pin in brighter green alloy points towards missing outside edge. The front faces of the sides are decorated with cast ovoid mouldings. In centre of edge, at which there is a triangular lobe, and at both ends of the bar lozengiform where are rounded lobes, there are lozengiform mouldings. 58mm (if symmetrical) by 29mm. 16th century.
