Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 4 November 2020.
Historic England Listing Description (S1) is a little misleading; building is in two sections, north section of east façade has round-arched door with fanlight, ground floor window, two windows above; south section projects forward with pilaster at each end; three first floor windows with flat arches (centre is blind), ground floor has large shop front with pilasters, central door and entablature. Not mentioned in (S1) is side elevation in Green Dragon Alley (to south) which has single storey outshut with former stable door; to right of latter a shop window has been inserted and a good Regency style doorcase presumably brought from elsewhere; two tall windows inserted into north wall of this projection.
E. Rose (NLA), 17 April 2004.
Due to erroneous grid references recorded in (S1) this record previously contained some details relating to the building on the opposite site of Green Dragon Lane (Post Office; NHER 48559).
