Large and complex house in appearance but probably a simple end-stack, two storey and attic house of about 1620 (modern date on it says '1596 circa'). A sail loft was added over part of the roof around 1780 when other alterations carried out. Later projections and changes. Retains good 17th century hinges, woodwork, etc.
