March 2003. Metal detecting.
14th-15th century medieval iron horseshoe with smooth outer and sharply angular inner profile and calkins (one missing).
No details of nail holes are visible, but probably of (S1)'s Type 4. Calkin is of Type B.
Length and width 100mm, a median size for this type (ibid 97-100).
