The small number of earlier finds included ?Mesolithic, Early Neolithic and Neolithic worked flints; single Roman, medieval and medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds and a possible Roman tegula fragment. The post-medieval or later finds included pottery sherds, ceramic building material fragments, clay tobacco pipe fragments, pieces of bottle glass and various iron objects.
