Summary

During metal detecting in the winter of 2003 to 2004 a prehistoric retouched flake was recovered from this site. Metal-detecting in 2019 recovered a Roman brooch.

December 2003 - January 2004. While metal detecting.
Retouched flake, long narrow pointed flake of brownish flint with incipient bluish patina. Extensive edge damage and wear, much of it post patination. There does seem to be some intentional retouch near the point on both edges. Undatable prehistoric.
