Summary

Fieldwalking in 2004 recovered a number of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds, as well as a piece of possible worked medieval limestone.

Before March 2004. Fieldwalking on site of soilmarks NHER 17142.
Amongst late post medieval sherds and some calcined flint: four medieval unglazed sherds including frilled jar rim and square-section bowl rim (weighing 21g), two glazed Grimston including strap handle fragment (20g), one body sherd late medieval to post medieval (4g), and one salt glazed stoneware. Lump without any surviving worked surfaces shelly limestone (weighing 291g), perhaps a medieval architectural fragment.
