An large undated pit was recorded when footing trenches were excavated for a new extension. The pit contained medieval and post medieval pieces of pot.

December 1999. Observation of footing trenches for extension to rear of No. 2 Chapel Hill.
A large pit containing late medieval/transitional and a piece of late medieval or early post medieval Flemish floor tile was visible cutting the surface of the natural.
