Summary

Cropmarks of post medieval field boundary banks and ditches are visible on aerial photographs. They are located to the east of Barron Lodge Farm. July 2004. Norfolk NMP. Cropmarks of banks and ditches representing post medieval field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are located around TG37713059. Two west to east aligned banks extend for up to 66m to the east of Barron Lodge Farm before joining a 105m long north to south aligned bank. Ditches are present on the north side of both of the west to east banks. These features define three rectangular fields, which are apparently associated with Barron Lodge Farm and are probably of post medieval date. However, these enclosures are not shown on Happisburgh tithe map (S2) or later maps. J. Albone (NMP), 21 July 2004.
