Map

July 2003. NMP.
The feature appears as a single circular or ring-like bank, with a narrow ditch to the outside and a depression at the centre (S1). The feature has a maximum diameter of 10m. This area was probably protected, to some extent, during part of the medieval period although the feature is possibly post-medieval in date. Circular features are known from different periods within the Fen area, and an earlier date cannot be totally discounted. The feature was on the line of the Relief Channel, and is now destroyed.
M. Brennand (NMP), 17 July 2003.
