February 2003. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks for new machine base at 75-81 Pottergate.
This work identified several post-medieval crypts associated with the Baptist Chapel.

P. Watkins (HES), 15 July 2015.

August-September 2005. Trial Trenching and Building Survey.
Archaeological work prior to the redevelopment of this site confirmed the locations of the chapel and its associated burial ground (these being as suggested by the available cartographic sources). It appeared that the cemetery had been signfiicantly disturbed, most likely when industrial buildings were constructed during the 1960s.
See report (S4) and NHER 41745 for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 15 July 2015.
