Map

August 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of an undated, probably Iron Age to Roman, trackway and ditches are visible on aerial photographs ((S1) to (S2)). Two parallel ditch cropmarks are present on a north south alignment in two sections. The northern section extends for 140m between TG 3918 2985 and TG 3918 2971, with the southern section visible for 200m between TG 3917 2961 and TG 3917 2941. Two sections of ditch, also on a north to south alignment are present on the eastern side of the trackway. The alignment of this trackway is similar to the Iron Age to Roman farmstead and field system cropmarks recorded 300m to the west (NHER 38744). The trackway appears to be cut across by possible post medieval field boundaries (NHER 38746).
