Map

2004. Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey.
Norfolk Ancient Woodland Historic Environment Rapid Identification Survey Pilot Study.
Sole's Plantation (not considered as ancient, but opportunistically included within the survey):
East to west linear feature, initially in the west a 10m wide, up to 0.6m high ridge, extending further east as an 8m wide and 0.5m deep linear hollow, aligned apparently from south side of ridge. Hollow extends in the grassland almost to present drive. Northern edge always more prominent. In the west, two banks link the ridge, one on each side. Possibly a former drive or road to the hall.
See report (S1) for further details.
