Map

October 2003.
Possible mound/barrow noted during visit in advance of clear felling. On top of a small promontory, facing towards the coast and with a fine view to the sea.

June 2004.
A path through tall bracken running northwest off the main east to west ride heading towards the summit of the promontory crosses an obvious ditch or hollow. This appears to be curved, as though for a barrow, at least on the east side. Would need to be revisited under better conditions.
D. Gurney (NLA), 9 June 2004.
