Summary

Fieldwalking recovered twelve Mesolithic or Early Neolithic worked flints in two areas. These included nine blades, two flakes and a singe retouched flake.

April 2004. Fieldwalking.
Fieldwalking in field lying fallow and in good conditions. Found in western half of the field (area centred TM 0088 0793):
7 Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flints blades, 1 retouched flake and 1 flake.

Found in easternmost part of the field (TM 0110 8785):
2 Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flint blades and 1 flake.
