October 2004. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of excavation of soakaway and connecting trenches in north side of churchyard.
No remains were exposed in the shallow trenches. Four incomplete human skeletons - associated with the medieval burial ground of the church - were however disturbed during the excavation of the soakaway. A single sherd of residual Roman pottery and another of late medieval date were retrieved from the spoil.
