October 2004. Field Observation.
Visited by E. Rose (NLA).
The carriage arch now has a concrete lintel. The statement in (S1) about the rear elevation is odd as there is a projecting wing here, possibly with some earlier brickwork, mark of removed stack on north. At the east end this connects with the shell of a gutted three-storey 19th-century building in which doors and fireplaces remain. The east and north walls seem to have been built on top of former garden walls with serpentine tops.
For finds from the site see NHER 1166.
E. Rose (NLA), 11 October 2004.

It appears from planning records at the Borough Council that the conversion of former No. 44 to flats took place in 1993 or shortly after.
