Summary

This site was visited in 2004 and a number of concrete footings, kerbs and the remains of slipways were noted along this stretch of river bank. It is thought that this complex dates largely to the 1950s.

October 2004. Visit at request of new owner.
Concrete footings, kerbs and remains of slipways along this stretch of river bank.
(S1) shows only one small building here, and the present boathouses further east.
(S2) is 'unrevised since 1930' for this area.
Highly improbable the structures predate 1938 and thus they are more likely to date from the 1950s, especially given that there is a petrol pump amongst them.
