Map

November 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A probable post medieval earthwork field boundary is visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the immediate south of Overstrand Mill (NHER 6802). The site is centred on TG 2542 4013 and the bank runs from TG 2544 4016 and is 68m long and 3m wide. It seems most likely that this is a field boundary of probable post-medieval date. This field was utilised for World War Two training and during this period barbed wire may possibly get placed on top of this field boundary and continue towards the end of the field (NHER 38512).
