Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 2004-05 recovered a variety of post medieval metalwork objects and a medieval coins. The metalwork comprised parts of a buckle frame, hooked fastener and animal bell as well as a thimble and button. The medieval coin was minted durnig the reign of Alexander III of Scotland. Metal detecting in 2009 recovered a Roman coin and post-medieval jetton.
