Full Description
December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A number of post-medieval field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 2670 3661. They are also depicted on Gimingham Tithe Map (S2). They can therefore be distinguished from the enclosure (NHER 39024) and field system (NHER 38961), both of probable Iron Age to Romano-British date, which have also been identified in the immediate vicinity. Further field boundaries of post medieval date have been mapped approximately 850m to the east (NHER 39025).
