Summary

Metal-detecting between 2004 and 2017 recovered Early Neolithic and probable Bronze Age/Early Iron Age worked flints; Roman pottery sherds; Roman, Late Saxon and post-medieval coins; a Roman key handle; an Early Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon buckle, bridle bit link and socketed hook; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories (including a post-medieval silver cuff link); a medieval elaborate sword-scabbard chape and a post-medieval purse bar, back plate for furniture handle and toy cannon.

September 2004. Metal-detecting.
Eleven sherds of Roman greyware, very abraded, including large jar rim and ?jar rim (weight 103g).
