Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A group of linear and curvilinear ditches are visible as fragmentary cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 2793 3746. So little of the features is visible that it is impossible to discern an overall pattern, nor is there any indication of their date and function. Some might plausibly be field boundaries. The fact that some of the cropmarks overlie each other suggests more than one phase of activity at the site. At the same time, the possibility that some or all of the cropmarks are the product of modern agricultural activity or the underlying geology cannot be ruled out.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 16 December 2004.
