Full Description
Norfolk NMP. June 2003.
A small complex of probable World War Two military buildings is visible to the south of Sheringham on RAF 1946 aerial photographs (S1-3). It appears to contain at least 9 buildings/structures and there is the possibility of more. The structures that are most easily discernable have been plotted. As well as this an extent of area has been mapped around the site. The site is centred on TG 1541 4208.
It is located quite near to other military sites in the area. These include practice trenches NHER 28239, 32522, 28238, and another small complex of buildings NHER 27974.
H. Clare (NMP) 26 June 2003.
