Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of ring ditch, possibly a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This ring ditch is located at TG 3346 3378. The ring ditch is sub-circular in plan and has a 16.5m diameter. The ditch is less than 1m wide resulting in an internal measurement of 15.5m. A 2m wide gap in the ditch, possibly an entrance, is present on the northeast side. It is probable that this ring ditch is on Bronze Age date and could relate to a round barrow. It is located approximately half way between a barrow cemetery 380m to the northeast (NHER 6914) and a possible ring ditch 410m to the southwest (NHER 39120).
