Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
The hulk of a wreck is visible on aerial photographs on the beach to the east of the groyne, perpendicular to the Coastguard Lookout, Cromer. The date of this vessel is not known for definite, although it seems likely that it is a recent wreck and may date to World War Two activity. The hulk is quite clearly visible in 1941 (S1) and it appears that only a limited amount of silting over has occurred suggesting that it is a relatively recently wrecked boat. The vessel is centred on TG 2285 4205 and measures 33m by 11m.
