Summary

A cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch is visible on aerial photography from 1976. It is possible that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and it could indicate a round barrow or round house. It is also possible that it relates to a feature of later date.

A cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is located at TG 3343 3115. The ring ditch in incomplete and sub-circular in form. It has a maximum external diameter of 16m and a 1m wide ditch. A 10m section of the ditch on the western side is not visible as a cropmark. It is possible that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and it could indicate a round barrow or round house. It is also possible that it relates to a feature of later date.
