Summary

This farm dates to the post medieval period. The farmhouse was constructed in the 18th century and is built of Sandringham carrstone. It has brick dressings and a slate roof and there are remnants of 17th century windows. A flint and brick barn with a pantile roof dates to the late 18th century.

September 1988. Listed, Grade II.
Farmhouse 18th century, galletted coursed Sandringham carrstone with brick dressings and slate roof, three bays, two storeys and attic, continuous catslide of one and a half storeys at rear. Internal gable chimneystacks. Main façade to south with central door and dentilled cornice; remnants of earlier windows in 17th century brick. Rear elevation of flint. Listed as only example of an unextended building wholly of Sandringham carrstone.

Barn: flint and brick, pantiled. Ten bays, six steads, long rear outshut. (S1) begins by saying dated 1778, but later say plaque on east gable has 1788 MBF for Martin Brown Ffolkes. West threshing floor of York stone slabs; clunch internal walls, three tier roof of butt purlins, ties and collars.
