February 2003. Building survey.
It is possible that this house was built as a hall house in the second half of the 16th century. Soon after it was built it may have been changed by the insertion of a chimney and hall floor, and the entrance may have been moved to creat a lobby entrance house. The house was also altered in the 18th century with the addition of a boxed staircase and chimney cupboard.
