Map

February 2005. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey (Compartment 32350):
Large, low and indistinct bank, aligned south-west to north-east. Approximately 10m wide and 0.3-0.5m high.
See report (S1) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 9 November 2015.

17 February 2005. Visited.
At the southwest end this resembles more a shelf from the hillside on the north. East of the track it is a broad, shallow linear feature dotted with old tree stumps. The area is shown as open land on (S2) and (S3), the latter having a row of trees in rough alignment from the east. The former parish boundary between Didlington and Colveston followed the dyke to the north. It is possible this may be a former boundary bank, but equally possible that it has some natural origin.
E. Rose (NLA), 22 February 2005.
