Summary

Several prehistoric flints including a borer, a knife and flakes have been found on this site, which is next to St Mary's Church in Houghton-on-the-Hill. A concentration of Iron Age pottery suggests that this may be the site of an Iron Age settlement, and Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery have also been found on the site.
