Inter-tidal survey (Environmental Zone 11), Context 88:
A building or platform was recorded on the hard on the eastern of Blakeney New Cut. It was built of concrete, bricks (those collected were 16th to 19th century in date) and metal inclusions.
It could have been a harbour building or may have been constructed as a gun position during the Second World War.
