Inter-tidal survey (Environmental Zone 11), Context 918:
A trackway, roughly northeast to southwest aligned, was recorded. It comprised compacted saltmarsh mud, flint gravel and concrete fragments. It probably had a historic origin and could have been the 'Cart road to beach' shown on a map dating to 1817 ((S1), in (S2)).
