Map

May-November 2004. Norfolk Rapid Coastal Zone Archaeological Survey.
Inter-tidal survey (Environmental Zone 15), Context 329:
A block of concrete was embedded in beach sand and gravel. It may have been in situ and could have been from a World War Two pillbox.
May be part of NHER 38279 and/or NHER 21298.
See assessment report (S1) for further details.
The associated archive has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2017.421).
J. Allen (NLA), 25 April 2005. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 21 July 2019.

December 2005.
If this fragment of concrete came from NHER 38279 and/or NHER 21298, it was not in situ when seen in 2004. As these sites were on the cliff top, it is probable that it will have fallen from the cliff top at some point.
D. Robertson (NLA), 22 December 2005.
