Full Description
May-November 2004. Norfolk Rapid Coastal Zone Archaeological Survey.
Inter-tidal survey (Environmental Zone 23), Context 118:
At the top of the cliff a brick wall, a spread of building material, and at least four V-shaped ditches were observed. Bricks collected at the base of the cliff [context 52, NHER 41609] may have come from either the wall or the spread of building material and may provide a date. If so the wall - probably a garden wall - would have been built between the 16th and 19th centuries. The ditches were possible field boundaries.
See assessment report (S1) for further details.
