Summary

A low earthwork mound is present on the edge of Breydon Water on aerial photographs. The position of its landward side corresponds to a group of posts that were identified by the Norfolk Rapid Coastal Survey as a possible revetment. It is likely that this revetment lay along the side of the mound. The function of the mound is uncertain, but it is possible that it relates to sea defences and is probably of post medieval to modern date.
