Full Description
February 2005. Building Survey.
Survey of eight post-medieval buildings on the site of proposed development.
See report (S1) for further details. The results of this survey are also noted in (S2).

January 2006. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site. Two trenches excavated. Contexts 1-54.
Work revealed three post medieval quarry pits that suggest the entire area has been extensively quarried.
