Full Description
May 2005. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed developed site. Contexts 1 to 113.
Archaeological features were found in every trench but many related to 19th and 20th century uses of the site. A series of medieval ditches and gullies were, however, recorded. It was more likely that they related to agriculture rather than direct occupation within the bounds of the site itself.
See report (S1) for further details.
