Summary

Cropmarks of a linear feature are visible on 1973 OS aerial photographs. The origin and date of this feature are uncertain, but it is possible that it is an old field boundary, that fits into the current field pattern, though there is no reference to it on the 1st or 2nd edition OS maps (or the current edition).

Map

March 2003. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a linear feature are visible on 1973 OS aerial photographs (S1). The origin and date of this feature are uncertain, but it is possible that it is an old (post-medieval?) field boundary, that fits into the current field pattern, though there is no reference to it on the 1st (S2) or 2nd (S3) edition OS maps (or the current edition). The feature runs from TG0220 4237 to TG0219 4225, and there appears to be a break in it at about NGR TG0219 4231.
