Summary

A large amount of reused medieval stonework was removed from a barn at Mill Farm (NHER 8026). The architectural fragments included a number of decorated pieces and they almost certainly came from St Faith's Priory (NHER 8005).

Amongst mass of reused limestone ashlar and architectural fragments removed during building work on barn at Mill Farm (NHER 8026), and almost certainly from St Faith's Priory (NHER 8005), a cushion capital on a nook shaft and a waterleaf capital retained for NCM.
