Summary

Metal-detecting between 2004 and 2020 recovered prehistoric worked flints, including an Early Bronze Age arrowhead; medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds and a range of Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Saxon stirrup strap mount; a medieval brooch; a medieval/post-medieval sewing ring and iron nail; post-medieval dress accessories, a possible chafing dish handle, lead bird feeder and lead musket balls and various late post-medieval/modern and undated items.

1 medieval/post-medieval copper alloy sewing ring.
1 post-medieval coin, 3 pottery sherds, 1 rowel spur, 4 buckles, 3 buttons, 1 lead bird feeder and 7 lead musket balls.
1 post-medieval/modern stirrup, 1 spoon bowl, 1 button or stud and 2 joining fragments of lead sheet disc or ring.
4 undatable lead weights and various other unidentified lead objects.

4 undatable prehistoric flint scrapers (including 2 side scrapers), 1 retouched flake, 1 flake core, 5 flakes and 1 elongated flint nodule with multiple possible flaking scars at one end.
1 medieval coin.
8 medieval pottery sherds (all local unglazed wares) and 1 annular brooch.
2 medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds (Siegburg stoneware and Late Medieval Transitional)
6 post-medieval pottery sherds (Frechen stoneware and Glazed Red Earthenware), 1 incomplete spur terminal and 1 handle from chafing dish or furniture.
4 undatable lead weights, 1 lead ?weight and 1 unidentified lead object.
