Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 16 February 2021.

(S2) describes the main rear section and suggests that the building is early 17th century; it notes documents from 1640 and panelling., Suggests an end-stack plan.
Building distantly seen by E. Rose (NLA) May 2005. (S1) does not properly explain that the red brick section along the street is a later pile added to the 17th century house which runs parallel to the west, as (S2) shows. A plaque on the street front states that it was used as two public houses in the 19th century. (S2) in file.
E. Rose (NLA), 17 May 2005.
