NHER 41261 (Building record) - The Elms, High Road

June 1981. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Probably 17th century. Plastered timber-frame, with brick faced end walls. Thatched roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Four windows. Casements, some modern. Two modern glazed doors. Brick chimney stack off centre."

(S2) in file does show four first floor windows but only three large ground floor windows plus a solid door in line with the stack; also an external west gable stack.
This account claims it is 16th century and retains many original internal doors
