Summary

An estate cottage, built of clay lump in the mid 19th century, possible by Edward Blore, an architect who also worked on Shadwell Court, NHER 6090. The original internal carpentry has survived almost completely, including a carved chimney piece.

Gardener’s bothy of about 1840, possibly by Edward Blore, the architect who remodelled some of the Hall.
Plastered clay lump.
Thatched roof, burned in 1991.
Gault brick stacks with moulded shafts, coats of arms on bases.
L shape with principal room in each wing and kitchen in angle.
Assymetrical.
2 storeys.
Oriel to south, otherwise metal casements.
Most of original internal joinery survives including carved chimney piece.
