Map

Small house at Church End. Two storeys, three bays, east façade in well laid Flemish bond brown bricks with horizontal skintlings; but gable walls and rear wall above recent extension are of very irregular bond. Central door with recessed rounded and pulvinated tympanum; window to each side has triangular tympanum of similar detail sunk above later frames. Central first floor window blank; to each side a later sash under original straight head. Wide spaced dentil cornice. Slate roof. Gable stacks internal, yet at same time the shafts are corbelled out over the gables.
Shown on (S1) but not on (S2) dating it to mid 19th century.
An amusing little building attempting to be very upmarket in its façade, but set on a crude carcass. Application for demolition 2005.
