October 2007. Building survey.
Fiske Cottage.
Originally the building was a house with service room, hall and parlour. There is some evidence that there was a timber chinmey in the cottage. The flat laid joists and ground plan suggest a late sixteenth-century date.
Warren Cottage.
This cottage has a timber chimney and may have been open to the roof when first built. It is suggested that this was once the kitchen of a larger house , now split into three properties. Timber framing is still visible at first floor level, and the roof appears to be original.
