2009. Building survey.
Lime Tree Cottage was originally built as a 1 1/2 storey tripartite house comprising a hall and service rooms in the sixteenth- century. It had unglazed diamond mullioned windows with shutters, and possibly a timber-framed chimney. The chimney was replaced and a lobby entrance created in the 17th century. It is likely that the south bay was added at a later date.
