Summary

This post medieval timber framed house was possibly once a medieval hallhouse. The upper floor was probably inserted in the 17th century and it likely once had a two cell plan with a gable chimneystack. Subsequent to the 17th century one end was added or rebuilt.

Timber framed house. Little visible at present but what can be seen suggests the upper floor was inserted at probably two periods in the 17th century, thus indicating an earlier hallhouse. Possibly two cell and gable chimneystack, but one end since rebuilt or added.
